The Lion in Winter is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
Love, hate, politics, threats, intrigue, inheritance, conspiracies, egos and ambition. Christmas 1183. King Henry II (Jamie Couch) brings his family together, even releasing his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine (Roz Couch) from prison for the occasion. An aging Henry is attempting to determine which of the sons—Richard (Todd Phillips), Geoffrey (Kevin Helmer), or John (Chris Morones)—will be the next King of England.
Add in Henry’s mistress, Alais (Candyce Wagnon), and her brother, King Phillip II of France (Jason Couch), and navigating through the plots and ambitions is not easy. With unforgettable, larger-than-life legendary characters and rich, witty dialogue, The Lion in Winter is an experience that shouldn’t be missed.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, played by Anayah Denby, Cater Cartwright, Grayson Foss, Cadence Glazener, Jake Hancock, and Sofi Serna. After a local woman is murdered, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them, and the seven strangers grow increasingly suspicious of one another.
