The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

The Herdman kids (played by Maddox Gaona, Lydia Smith, Robert McDermand, Grayson Fos, McKenna Fos and Cadence Glazener) are absolutely the worst. They lie, they steal, they bully…and they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. 

The story follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace Bradley (played by Jessie Licht) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter, Beth (Holly Odom), and husband, Bob (Cristóban Morones), are less than amused. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.

The cast also includes Candyce Wagnon (Mrs. Armstrong), Jessica May (Mrs. Slocum), Chelsi Condon (Mrs. Clark), Christen Smith (Mrs. Clausing), Kim Fos (Mrs. McCarthy, Pablo Morones (Reverend Hopkins), Richard Malloy (Deacon), Alexandra Norman (Alice Wendleken), Stihl Adams (Charlie Bradley), David Morones & Isaac Alejandro Calderon (Firefighters).

The Sunday School Class is played by Jackson Smith, Morgan Stewart, Radlynn May, Kinsley Baeza, Vivian Licht, Kenzie Clark, Nash Coutee, Hazel Licht, Graham Payne, Jocelyn Hunt, Carli Shaw, Madie Boyer, Ariel Higginbothan, and Madeline Norman.

Roz Couch will direct this cherished Christmas tradition featuring adult, youth, and child Lamp-Lite Players. Auditions were held at Lamp-Lite Theatre on October 4 & 5.

TICKETS: 

Tickets to performances of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER will be available beginning on November 17, 2025, and can ONLY be purchased online.  Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the Lamp-Lite Theatre box office 45 minutes before each performance.

AUDIENCE DRESS REHEARSAL: There will be NO audience dress rehearsal
