Book by Michael Stewart, Music & Lyrics by Jerry Herman. Based on the play, The Matchmaker, by Thornton Wilder. Original Production Directed & Choreographed by Gower Champion.

This musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play The Matchmaker bursts  with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in  musical theatre history. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly  Gallagher Levi (played by Carrie Swann), turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges  things,” are certain to thrill and entertain audiences again and again. 

Also performing are Todd Phillips, Nikolaas Van Kley, Riley Nicols, Katie Parr, Faith Kolosci, River Delcambre, Chelsi Condon, Melissa McMillan-Cunningham, Mark Hooker, Elaine Lambright, and Rick Jones. 

Appearing in the "Dolly Chorus" are Alexis Boyle, Cater Cartwright, Suzy Childers, Olivia Dean, Kymberleigh Deen, Anayah Denny, Anna Donihoo, Mattie Donihoo, Amy Miller Helmke, Tonya Huber, Cindy Hughes, Addison Lewis, Brianna Lewis, Peyton Lewis, Linda Licht, Sandy Licht, Marshall Lieberman, Scott Parrish, Clark Perry, Pablo Morones, Dixie Thompson, Jessica Shelkey, Mallee Snodgrass, Bill Small, Regan Smith, Faithlynn Stockman, Frances Teal, and Katherine Parrish Whitbeck.

The play will be directed by Davy Thomas and choreographed by Katie Parr of Gobel School of Dance. Auditions were held at Lamp-Lite Theatre on October 26 & 27, 2024.
