The Play That Goes Wrong was written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields, and is presented by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service under license from Mischief Worldwide Ltd.
After benefiting from a large and sudden inheritance, the inept and accident-prone Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society embarks on producing an ambitious 1920s murder mystery.
Hilarious disaster ensues and the cast members start to crack under the pressure. Can they get the production back on track before the final curtain falls?
The Play That Goes Wrong will be directed by Roz Couch. Auditions were held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at 5pm and Saturday, Jan. 27 at 10am at Lamp-Lite Theatre.
The cast, and their roles, includes Stephanie Oldmixon (Annie), Lisa Reid (Trevor/Terry), Bill Small (Chris/Inspector Carter), Tim Hogle (Jonathan/Charles), Todd Phillips (Robert/Thomas), Corey Ashley (Dennis/Perkins), River Delcambre (Max/Cecil), and Lauren Burrow (Sandra/Florence).

AUDIENCE DRESS REHEARSAL: Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 7:30pm
Auditions for the upcoming play, Black Comedy, will be held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025, and 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Lamp-Lite Theatre.
Directing the play will be Roz Couch, and performances will be on the weekends of April 4 & 11, 2025.
