2024 Summer Musical

Opening Night is Friday, June 28, 2024

The Sound of Music, presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of The Rogers & Hammerstein Organization (www.concordtheatricals.com), will be the 2024 Summer Musical for Lamp-Lite Theatre. 

The musical tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as governess to a large family while she decides whether to become a nun. She falls in love with the children and their widowed father, Captain Von Trapp. Based on the real life story of the Von Trapp Family singers.

Nita Hudson directs alongside Charisse Gregory, musical director. Cast members include Shelby Toner, Kevin Helmer, Nita Hudson, Jessie Licht, Heath McCormack, Bill Small, Melissa DeVine, delightful Von Trapp children, and talented Nuns. Tina Oswald serves as stage manager, Jessica Williams as scenic designer, and Lisa Reid and Anna Donihoo as scenic artists.
