Opening Night is Thursday, December 17, 2026

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.  It will be directed by Cristóban Morones.

The Herdman kids are absolutely the worst. They lie, they steal, they bully…and they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. 

The story follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace Bradley is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter, Beth, and husband, Bob, are less than amused. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.

Auditions will be held on September 19 & 20, 2026 at 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

TICKETS: 

Tickets to performances of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER will be available beginning on November 2, 2026, and can ONLY be purchased online.  Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the Lamp-Lite Theatre box office 45 minutes before each performance.
